The View: May 6 2013
Recapo update: Here are the segments from this episode.
- The View: Justice Sonia Sotomayor My Beloved World Review
- The View: Jim Gaffigan Dad Is Fat Review & Life In Two-Room Apartment
- The View: Mary McCartney & Food: Vegetarian Home Cooking Review
Monday’s episode of The View will be, at the very least, varied. Starting out with Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, the show then continues on with comedian Jim Gaffigan and photographer Mary McCartney. That is quite the eclectic cast!
The View: Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor
Coming off a recent stint of press attention with her recently published memoir My Beloved World after she dedicated a new state state court house and met eighth, ninth, and 10th grade student in Denver on Thursday, Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will stop by The View to probably talk about all that or weigh in on the recent apprehending of three more suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing case.
The View: Comedian Jim Gaffigan
I simply cannot get enough of Jim Gaffigan‘s humor. His bit on Hot Pockets from years ago always has me in stitches. His sarcastic, observational, too-average Joe sense of humor translated so well to his role in That ’70s Show, too. It’s anyone’s guess as to what he will be talking about on the show, but it’s probably safe to assume that his upcoming book, Dad Is Fat, will provide some conversation fodder for Jim Gaffigan and his time on the show. If anything, I am fully expecting a litany of jokes, pokes, and prods, perhaps at the cast’s expense?
The View Photographer Mary McCartney
This is a strange one – Mary McCartney, a well-known photographer that rose to fame after she snapped some of the first public photos on Leo Blair, the child of Tony and Cheri Blair, is putting out a book about food – vegan food. Called Food:Vegetarian Home Cooking, the book will feature easy-to-make vegetarian food, all with accompanying pictures by Mary herself.
