The View April 30 2013
Recapo update: Here are the interviews from The View.
- The View: Dr Phil Domestic Violence & Escaping Abusive Relationships
- The View: Is Amanda Knox Guilty? Diane Sawyer & Waiting To Be Heard
Get ready to say goodbye to April with a new episode of The View. Dr Phil and Diane Sawyer are scheduled to join guest host Jenny McCarthy on the April 30 episode. Here’s what they are talking about.
The View: Diane Sawyer & Amanda Knox
What if you were falsely accused of murder a second time? Diane Sawyer has the exclusive interview with Amanda Knox, the American student charged with murder in Italy. After a traumatic first trial, Knox has been charged yet again!
Sawyer’s conversation with Knox will be the focus of a special edition of 20/20: “Murder. Mystery. Amanda Knox Speaks.” Knox’s memoir is also due in stores this week, so true crime lovers are in for some juicy details in this case.
If you want a break from Jodi Arias, the latest twists in the Knox saga should provide good fodder for amateur sleuths. Sawyer previews her 20/20 interview on The View’s April 30 show.
The View: Dr Phil
For the Year of the Viewer, Dr Phil is taking questions submitted to The View by fans. Plus, he will surely mention his book, Life Code. Maybe Dr Phil can offer advice for career changes to the women, since there is a shakeup coming to the cast before fall.
The View: Jenny McCarthy
I’ve mentioned before that you have to examine nearly every guest host on The View as a potential addition to the show, with at least one open seat at the table in the fall. Jenny McCarthy, who is hosting a three-day stint for May sweeps, could be among frontrunners for the panel show.
We know she is outspoken, and she has loads of on-camera experience. Presumably, The View would not clash with her VH1 Friday night talk show, either. Would you want McCarthy to join the panel on a permanent basis? Or do you have a better idea?
Tell me your thoughts in the comments and check back for recaps in case you miss this episode of The View.
