The View: Mireille Enos World War Z
Mireille Enos, who is co-starring with Brad Pitt in the upcoming zombie apocalypse film World War Z, revealed right off the bat that this is the first film that she was ever made, after conquering the stage and television. Mireille Enos jokingly noted that her scariest moment in the entire filming experience was actually kissing Brad Pitt. Though she had first said this as a joke at a panel about the movie, it soon became her true scariest moment simply because no one laughed, and the press interpreted it as real.
Interesting side note? Mireille Enos has never seen a zombie movie before filming World War Z.
The View: Mireille Enos The Killing Season Three
Another one Mireille Enos’ projects, The Killing, where she plays detective Sarah Linden, is entering its third season. Mireille said that this season will be much darker than the previous two, and that it is about a homeless population that is being targeted by a serial killer.
The Killing was cancelled after its second season, and Mireille Enos said that the show’s return could be credited to the public outcry that followed the show’s cancellation.
The View: Kellie Pickler Performs “Someone Somewhere Tonight”
Kellie Pickler performed her latest single, “Someone Somewhere Tonight” after co-hosting the show today. Kellie provided further proof as to why she is more than just an American Idol gimmick with some great lyrics and a heartfelt performance. On a stage with minimal lighting or effects, Kellie, along with a modest backing band, stole the end of the show.
Kellie had to leave the show right after her performance to go to Nashville, where she’s working on her new album. She called the mood of the album “Kellie Country,” so I think we all know what to expect when the new album comes out this fall.
