Miller is an avid runner who has participated in 16 marathons. He said he is thinking of the victims of the Boston bombings, but did not want to speculate.

“Anyone who’s run a marathon knows that the amount of love that is generated by such an event is enormous,” Miller said, thinking of families and causes that are also often tied in to the competition.

He said that he would not be giving up his hobby of running, in spite of the stunning events at this year’s Boston Marathon.

The city of Boston turns to sport for celebration on this day, holding the Boston Marathon on Patriots’ Day each year.

Though there has been audience speculation that the pair will end up as a couple, will that ruin the mystique and legacy of the characters?
