Chef Ingrid Hoffman made her Mexican Meatloaf Recipe with Tequila Ketchup and a Cherrylicious cocktail on The Talk.

  • 1 lb Lean Ground Beef
  • 1 lb Ground Turkey Breast
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 2 Carrots, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1 cup Cilantro
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin
  • 1/2 tsp Chipotle Powder
  • 1 tsp Chili Powder
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper

Try organic ketchup to cut down on sugar content. The tequila helps create an intense flavor.

  • 1 cup Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Tequila
  • 1/4 tsp Chipotle Powder
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce

To make ketchup, combine ingredients in a bowl until blended.

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet lined with foil.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet on medium high.
  4. Add onion, garlic, chipotle, chili powder, Worcestershire and cumin.
  5. Stir for six to eight minutes, until veggies are tender.
  6. Remove from heat and add cilantro.
  7. Let cool in a large bowl.
  8. Add meat, bread crumbs, eggs, salt, and pepper.
  9. Add 1/2 cup tequila ketchup and mix until gently blended.
  10. Form into a 6×9 loaf on the baking sheet.
  11. Smother in remaining ketchup.
  12. Bake about 70 minutes, to an internal temperature of 160 F.
  13. Let cool a few minutes before serving.

The Talk: Cherrylicious Cocktail Recipe Ingredients

Save your calories for a nice cocktail featuring frozen cherries as a natural, healthy snack.

  • 12 oz Frozen Cherries
  • 1 cup & 3/4 cup Silver Rum
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 3/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 cup Cherry Syrup
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice
  • 2 cups Sparkling Water

The Talk: Ingrid Hoffman Cherrylicious Recipe Directions

  1. Combine one cup of rum with frozen cherries and sugar, until sugar dissolves.
  2. Cover the mixture and put it in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  3. Combine rum, Grand Marnier, syrup and lime juice in a pitcher.
  4. Add ice cubes, stir, and add sparkling water.
  5. Serve drinks with extra cherries or garnish with lime.
