Southwestern cuisine professional Chef Tim Love was on The Talk to make some of his signature dishes. He did a Grilled Skirt Steak recipe with citrus.
The Talk: Grilled Skirt Steak Recipe
Tim Love said that you can cut your skirt steak into smaller pieces, cutting with the grain. His advice is to bring your meat to room temperature before cooking it.
Love said that he prefers peanut oil when grilling, because it will not burn. When grilling, he said you should double the amount of seasoning you think you should use, to build a crust.

- Peanut Oil
- 2 lb Skirt Steak, cut into 8-ounce portions
- Kosher Salt
- Black Pepper
- Chili Rub
- 2 Limes
The Talk: Tim Love Grilled Skirt Steak Directions
- Heat grill on high for 30 minutes.
- Prepare meat using oil and seasonings.
- Rub with chili rub.
- Place steak on hot grill, cooking three minutes per side.
- Squeeze fresh lime over each steak.
- Remove and let stand three minutes.
- Slice against the grain before serving for a tender taste experience.

Spiked Milkshake Ingredients
- 4 oz Vanilla Ice Cream
- 4 oz Whole Milk
- 2 oz Vanilla Orange Liquer
- 2 oz Chocolate Ganache
Blend all ingredients together and serve in a martini glass.
