Kathy Griffin, the outspoken comedian who always has headlines and television sensors buzzing, even at 52, has a new comedy special, Calm Down Gurrl.

Kathy Spoke on topics like Reese Witherspoon’s mugshot, her boyfriend Randy Rick, and her rubbing elbows with Robert Redford at a recent celebrity event, which she said a was wowing experience.

Linda Perry of Four Non Blondes and singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield announced that they were teaming up for An Evening With Women, a charity event at the Beverly Hilton to support the Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian Center.

Called An Evening With Women, the event was to be hosted by Kathy Griffin and would provide health care and legal services to the gay and lesbian community. There would also be performances from Ozzy Osbourne and others.

Not only was Linda Perry responsible for that event, she also took part in other charitable events as well. One charity had her getting celebrities to donate memorabilia that they would alter auction off, donating all the proceeds. Items up for auction included a Pretty Woman package and limited edition Marc Jacobs coats.

The action planned to raise $600,000 this year, $100,000 more than the $500,000 they raised for their 2012 event.

To close out the show, Natasha Bedingfield played a stripped down version of her single, “Pocketful Of Sunshine” and Linda Perry also performed a stripped down rendition of a song, her megahit from her Four Non Blondes days, “What’s Up.”
