The Talk looked at some popular toys and games for children, such as the Kiwi Crate, Sbyke P20, Pacific Plate Tents, and 2013 American Girls reviews.

Sara Gilbert loves to spend quality time with her kids, and for her, Chi-Lan suggested the Kiwi Crate. This is a monthly subscription program for children ages three to seven. Each month, a box will arrive with arts and crafts or science projects that they will love.


Sara said that it takes the guesswork out of coming up with a project on your own.

American Girl dolls continue to be popular, and Saige has been named the 2013 American Girl of the Year. “She’s spirited and imaginative, and her passions inspire action,” Chi-Lan said of the popular doll.

Sports help with team building abilities and coordination skills. Little Tikes makes all kinds of playsets, which encourage fun and creativity during recess or fun time. Michael Chiklis said he never had these types of great toys when he was growing up.

The Sbyke P20 is a combination bike and scooter that Chi-Lan compared to skiing or surfing. It can give your kids a core workout, apparently, and now I am wondering if there is an adult version.

The studio audience got to take home each of the day’s featured toys, and home viewers can win the prizes on The Talk’s website.
