Broadway theatre lovers are flocking to The Trip To Bountiful, which chronicles an old woman’s journey of self-discovery later in life. The Horton Foote play stars the legendary Cicely Tyson, who is making her return to the Great White Way.

The cast also includes Vanessa Williams and Cuba Gooding Jr., who will be talking about the experience when they are guests on The Talk’s Friday, May 17 episode. What has it been like for them to work on this project?

Broadway schedules can be very demanding, so it’s nice that the two of them made time to talk about their work on this episode. You can check out their conversation here after the episode airs.

The Talk: Chef Guy Fieri

Chef Guy Fieri is a successful Food Network personality and restaurateur. Despite some critical reviews of his Times Square restaurant, the man is soldiering ahead and has a new cookbook out. This one is called Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives: The Funky Finds In Flavortown.

See what he is cooking up for The Talk on May 17 2013. This should be interesting, because they are putting on the show in a much smaller space than they usually use, so I wonder how they will improvise a kitchen on the New York set.

Tune in for recipes and repartee on the May 17 conclusion to The Talk’s New York week.
