Who knows what other surprises are lined up for this New York City adventure? Tune in to the show to see what the women have to say about the day’s hottest celebrity news.

The Talk: Lucy Liu Elementary

Elementary, a modern-day twist on Sherlock Holmes set in New York City, is concluding its successful first season on CBS. Lucy Liu stars as a female Watson, and she is visiting The Talk to reflect on the first year of the show.

Fans don’t need to worry, because it will be back for a second season in fall 2013. But how will Lucy Liu spend her summer vacation? According to Brad Garrett, she could fill in for Julie Chen, because he gets the two of them confused.

CBS This Morning: Norah O’Donnell & Gayle King

Though most of the attention is focused on Today Vs Good Morning America, fans of news at breakfast are finding CBS This Morning. Gayle King (Oprah’s BFF) and Norah O’Donnell are part of that morning team, and they are spending time with the women from The Talk on May 15 2013.

Sticking to news over celebrity gossip does not mean the morning team can’t have fun. But as we saw when Julie Chen graduated from morning news to The Talk, daytime gives people more flexibility to let loose.

Traveling to New York City gives The Talk access to guests who aren’t often on the West Coast. Maybe we will see a new side to Gayle and Norah during their guest spot on The Talk’s Wednesday show. Check back here for recaps after the show.
