The Talk: Gayle King & Norah O’Donnell
Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell wake up very early to bring people the news on CBS This Morning. The ladies appeared on The Talk to discuss working the dawn shift on daytime. They also explained Gayle-Isms and gave an example.
The Talk: Brandi Glanville and Leann Rimes
Gayle King wanted to gossip about hot topics, such as the acrimonious relationship between Brandi Glanville and Leann Rimes. Should they have sent flowers and made up? Gayle has been spurned by a cheater in the past, and was not keen on the move, but she said she hoped they worked things out for the children.
These New York episodes are veering out of control. It’s like the co-hosts think they are on vacation and don’t have to end their live show on time.
The Talk: Norah O’Donnell Loves Bacon
Norah O’Donnell professed her love of bacon and said she panics when the cafeteria does not have bacon at the ready. She likes a bacon and egg sandwich for a quick breakfast before the show. But neither she nor Gayle could get on board with an all-vegan diet like Sara Gilbert.
The Talk: Gayle King Gayle-Isms
How have Norah and Gayle been getting along as co-hosts? Apparently, Gayle likes to talk in rhymes, which seems like it would get annoying, especially first thing in the morning. But Norah thinks it’s cute and calls the phrases “Gayle-isms.”
One of them is, “All in our places, bright, shiny faces,” which Gayle also makes the crew say. I wonder what her best friend Oprah has to say about these sayings.
The Talk: Charlie Rose Morning Person?
Their co-anchor, Charlie Rose, is more of a morning person than people give him credit for, they said. But they did admit that he does not hang out with them in the makeup and hair room before the show each morning. Maybe he is not that into rhymes. You can watch the three of them talking about the morning’s biggest stories every weekday at 7 a.m. on CBS This Morning.
