The Doctors TV Show spoke about Dr Mike Moreno’s Diet Plan called The 17 Day Diet again after rave reviews from his recent appearance. Ever since I tried the Chicken Lettuce Wraps at PF Changs, I fell in love with the idea of using lettuce instead of tortillas to make healthy wraps. The Drs TV Show demonstrated how to make this healthy snack, and here is the recipe:
The Doctors: Lettuce Chicken Wrap Recipe
1 chicken breast (cooked and diced)
1 scallion (diced)
1/2 cup red grapes (chopped)
2 TB celery (chopped)
1 TB olive oil
Salt and Pepper to taste
2-3 lettuce leaves (Boston Lettuce or Iceburg Lettuce work the best)

1. Mix everything other than the lettuce leaves together in a bowl.
2. Chill the entire mixture for several hours so that the flavors have time to marry.
3. Place a big tablespoon of the chicken salad mixture onto a lettuce leaf and wrap the lettuce around the filling.
Dr Michael Moreno said that he loves to make this the night before and pack it up so that he has a healthy snack for the next day when he is out and about or at the office. Dr Moreno also said that the scallions, celery, and grapes are all cleansing vegetables that help you to lose weight. Plus, the grapes are loaded with fiber and relatively low in sugar. As Dr Mike Moreno says – healthy food can be flavorful, which is one of the reasons that so many people seem to love The 17 Day Diet.
