The Drs: Chris Fulfills Dream Of Being a Surgeon After Becoming Paralyzed
Chris had always wanted to be a surgeon but when he accidentally slipped and fell through his coffee table, he knew his dreams could have been shattered forever. He had twisted his back and paralyzed himself from the waist down. It was at that moment he realized he would never become a surgeon. Or so he thought.
He said it was a physician in rehab that told him he could become a surgeon still. He only needed to find a way to make it to the operating table. And he did. Chris uses a custom wheelchair that allows him to sit when riding somewhere and then move into an upright position when he has to perform surgery.
