The Drs TV: Should You Refrigerate Soy Sauce & Ketchup?
The Doctors wanted to share the real deal on condiments and whether certain condiments belong in the fridge or in the pantry. First, do you need to refrigerate your soy sauce? Dr Jennifer Ashton said she keeps her soy sauce in the refrigerator, explaining that it makes sense that the sugar in soy sauce could cause bacteria to proliferate at room temperature. But at restaurants, the soy sauce just sits on the table for forever, not to mention how long ketchup bottles just sit on the tables.
Dr Travis Stork said you actually should refrigerate your soy sauce and ketchup.
The Doctors: 7-Minute Wrinkle Reducer?
The Doctors then shared that they wanted to put a beauty product to the test to see if it’s really possible to erase fine lines and wrinkles in just seven minutes with a serum. Three women volunteered to use the serum to see if it actually works.
Dermatologist Dr Anthony Youn explained that he was using the Athena 7-Minute Lift to take care of crows feet, fine lines, and puffiness around the eyes. It can even improve sagginess of the neck in just seven minutes. Dr Youn shared that the treatment claims to reduce fine lines and wrinkles by 80% in just 7 minutes, and lasts for up to 12 hours. Sounds a little too good to be true!
Dr Youn explained that the product contains 12 essential organic oils that combine to tighten the face. He said only a small amount is needed and it’s loaded with antioxidants, peptides, and vitamins, which can provide long-term anti-aging benefits.
The Drs TV: Athena 7-Minute Lift Review
The Doctors waited seven minutes and then checked in on the three women and showed before and afters for each of the women. For the first woman, Dr Jennifer Ashton said she doesn’t see that much of a difference, saying she didn’t think she even needed it before. I think there was a slight improvement in the find lines around her nose and mouth, but that easily could have been the lighting.
There was a little bit more of a chance in the third woman, but in the first two there was hardly a difference. Dr Youn said when he did the treatment on one of the women backstage, he could actually see things tightening. He said sometimes we’re looking for surgical results, but it’s a cream.
The women said their skin felt tighter. Dr Ordon said the results are individualized and some women may respond better than others. Dr Youn said some women may need more of the cream than others, but his patients have generally been pretty happy with the product. You have to have realistic expectations.
