In 2011, Dana Delany began starring on the ABC medical drama Body of Proof. Dana portrays medical examiner Dr. Megan Hunt, a one-time neurosurgeon who now works to solve cases by performing autopsies and analyzing bodies. Body of Proof does its best to maintain medical authenticity and looks to a set of real-life technical advisers to make sure procedures are imitated correctly by the actors.
