The Drs: Home Remedies For Heartburn + Cinnamon Gum
The Doctors shared that at least 60 million Americans are affected at least once a month with heartburn. Dr Travis Stork explained that if heartburn is chronic is gastric esophageal reflux disease (GERD), which is when the acidity from your stomach contents travel up into your esophagus. If left untreated, it can lead to cellular changes and even cancer.
They had three tips and tricks that may help with suppressing acid. The first one is cinnamon gum, because the gum stimulates saliva production, which helps flush out the acid in your esophagus. You want to make sure it’s not mint gum, because mint can relax the lower esophageal sphincter muscle, which can make heartburn worse.
The Drs: Yellow Mustard & Ginger For Heartburn Relief
The next home remedy for heartburn is plain yellow mustard, because the acid base can neutralize the acid a little bit. One teaspoon either taken by itself or mixed into a glass of warm or room temperature water can help you find relief.
Finally, The Doctors recommended the use of ginger, because it can suppress acid production. Take some real ginger and let it steep in warm water for about 20 minutes before drinking.
The Drs: Turmeric Lemon Juice Acne Treatment
The Doctors explained that acne can strike at any time and any age, so you can use turmeric to fight it. It has powerful anti-inflammatory properties and can be used as a quick acne treatment. Dr Rachael Ross instructed you to take some lemon out of the fridge, add some turmeric to the lemon juice to make some paste. The paste will take away some of the redness and prevent scarring. Just place a little bit of the paste right onto your pimple and let it dry overnight.

Paul Allen, co-founder of Microsoft and philanthropist, recently donated $100 million to eradicate Ebola. To raise awareness about the deadly virus, he created the Tackle Ebola ribbon which News in 2:00 gave to celebrities at the Palm Springs International Film Festival gala. Paul Allen was News in 2:00’s Person of the Week.

Before the end of the show, The Doctors shared that the secret ingredient to longer and stronger hair is walnut oil because it contains omega fatty acids. If you mix the walnut oil with egg you can create a protein-rich hair mask.
