The Doctors enlisted their producer Leslie to investigate a product that you can get for less than $10 at your local drug store. Supposedly, this product can help you lose inches around your waist in less than an hour. It sounds too good to be true, which is they The Doctors wanted to find out more. Leslie gathered up three women to go through a thirty minute workout with Albolene around their waist.

Albolene is a facial cleanser and makeup remover. Leslie measured their waist first, then had them put on the product, then wrap their abdomens in plastic wrap, before wearing a waist band. They then hopped onto the treadmills for 30 minutes. After their workout, they were excited to see the results. The women were literally dripped with sweat from their abdomens.

The Doctors: Quick Fix For Weight Loss

The Doctors were joined by Dr Sonia Batra and The Doctors revealed that one woman lost an inch from her waist, while the other two each lost a half inch from their waists. All three described the experience as “interesting.” Dr Batra explained that Abolene has been around for years and the ingredients include petroleum and mineral oil, which are heavy seal the pores. By putting the cream on and then wrapping themselves up, they were trapping heat, causing them to sweat so much more.

Basically, what the women lost was water weight, which is why they’re at risk for dehydration if they’re not careful and hydrating efficiently. Dr Batra said a lot of boxers actually use the same technique to make weight, so it makes sense for short-term result or help fitting into a tighter outfit, but for long term results, this isn’t exactly a solution for weight loss. Not to mention that much heat and moisture can set you up for bacteria and fungus.
