The Doctors: Hair Trends For The New Year
There is some psychology behind “having a good hair day” with The Doctors explained that changing your hair style can improve your mood and even boost your self-confidence. Tera Rae Stephens shared three new hair trends, using three women who desperately needed a bit of a makeover. Heather was sporting an ombre look, but Tera instead gave her a more natural, low-maintenance look by hand-painting in highlights around the hair-line and face to contour the face.
Another woman was sporting an outdated bob and Tera updated her hair by breaking up the boxy-ness. She used layers on the inside of her hair, rather than the outside and changed her part from a middle part to a side part to add youth and drama for the new year. Finally, Erin used to rock a perfectly-curled outdated style, and Tera switched it up using more relaxed waves. She told Erin to break up the curls a little bit to make them more loose. She used a curling wand and curled her hair horizontally to create the soft waves.

The Doctors: Holiday Guide To Beautiful Skin
The Doctors then revealed their holiday guide to beautiful skin to help you look your best. Dr Jessica Wu said it’s all about eating good food. The worst offender is sugar, which speeds up aging. You should also avoid sodium and salty snacks which can contribute to puffiness and under-eye bags. Try eating green beans, cranberries, and sweet potatoes. Of course, stay active to give your skin a healthy glow.
Kristen Bellamy of HollyMom.com suggested using an antibacterial wipe on your phone to get rid of bacteria. Dr Wu said to keep your beauty routine simple and stick to it. Add a serum to your skin care routine, such as No. 7, which you can buy at Target.
