The Doctors: Laser Hair Removal

We’ve all heard the countless commercials for laser hair removal, but for the most part, those advertisements seem to target women, focusing on this procedure for the legs. After talking about the pros & cons of beards, now The Doctors are showing off the latest laser hair removal treatment for men’s facial hair: the Lightsheer Duet Laser Hair Removal System.

Lightsheer Duet Laser Hair Removal System Review: The Doctors

Are you tired of shaving and trimming your beard? The Doctors reviewed a new painless Lightsheer Duet Laser Hair Removal System for men's facial hair.

Earlier, The Doctors met Chris, a man who has to use a new razor to shave each day because his beard is so thick. He was ready to give this new treatment a try, and to help him, facial plastic surgeon Dr Keith Marcus agreed to explain this new procedure.

“There’s a Chill Tip on the ET handpiece, and this Chill Tip will cool the upper 1/3 of the epidermis,” Dr Marcus explained. But lower follicles are heated, which absorbs energy and the follicles regress. “You also get the blanching of the blood, so it doesn’t compete with the follicles, which are taking up the heat energy.”

Finally, light photons lead to permanent hair reduction. Dr Andrew Ordon said that years ago he had laser hair removal on his face, and he said it used to be very painful. But Dr Marcus said that this procedure is safer for the skin and won’t cause burns, as previous versions did.

The Drs: Lightsheer Duet Laser Hair Removal Treatment Results

Everyone in the treatment wore protective goggles as Dr Marcus did Chris’s Lightsheer Duet Laser Hair Removal treatment. As he put the device in place and pressed a button, there was a flash of light and a beep, with instant results of hair removal. That’s a really quick process!

Dr Marcus said that the process could take as many as five or six treatments to complete, but the results are permanent. Chris said the treatment was not painful, and Dr Marcus even agreed to give Chris the full course of treatments on the house.

He is getting this done for free, but I’m sure it’s worth the price not to have to buy a new razor every day for the rest of your life. Have you ever had laser hair treatment? Have you been thinking about it? Would you ever recommend it to the man in your life?
