The Doctors: Dita Von Teese Ageless Beauty Tips

The Doctors welcomed Dita Von Teese, who is an ageless class act. The burlesque dancer, author, and beauty expert claims you don’t have to be rich to look like a Hollywood bombshell. You also don’t have to be young and, according to Von Teese, “you don’t even have to be pretty!” Von Teese said she never fit into the mainstream idea of beauty, so she shared some of her beauty tips.

She fell in love with red lipstick as a teenager, saying it made her feel like she was closer to her beauty idols. She suggested trying a bright color, different than what you usually wear. She said it’s also a good idea to carry your skin care and makeup routine past the face and go below the neck with it as well. You can set a mood in your bathing area with music and candlelight, even using Epsom salt with a rose or lavender oil to help you relax for cheap. Pick one thing that you can do really well and focus on that to give you confidence no matter where you are or what you’re wearing.

The Doctors: Should Pregnant Women “Eat For Two?”

Dr Rachael Ross recently announced that she is expecting her first baby in March. She welcomed Dr Melina Jampolis, author of “The Doctor on Demand Diet” as Dr Rachael explained that she was actually experiencing such bad morning sickness that she was throwing up and needed IV fluids. Dr Melina admitted that she gained 12 pounds the first trimester of her pregnancy, and you’re actually only supposed to gain like pounds at the most during that time. She said many pregnant women are shocked to find out that they’re not actually eating for two!

You’re actually eating for one and 1/6. You only need about an extra 300 calories a day and an extra 10-15 grams of protein. Pregnant women tend to go a little crazy. Dr Rachael said she had to have some Doritos the other day and she hadn’t had them since she was about 13-years-old.

The Doctors: All Natural Makeup Removers

The Doctors shared three natural makeup removers to avoid going to sleep with makeup on. First, milk and almond oil. Add a little almond oil to a bowl of whole milk and use a cotton ball to rub it all over your face. You could also use cucumber to remove makeup and clean your face. Grind a cucumber into a paste and then rub the paste on your face and then wash it off. Third, you can use aloe!
