Spread out your nail visits a little bit, because often times you dry your nail under a UV lamp, which can cause skin damage. Either apply a waterproof sunscreen ahead of time, or use a glove when drying your nails to protect your skin.

You could also go for an organic manicure, which can be better for you overall. Also, let your nails breathe every now and then to give your nail beds a little rest. Dr Rachael Ross and Dr Jennifer Ashton then had a little too much fun applying nail polish to Dr Travis Stork’s nails.
