The Doctors: 30 Day Lovemaking Challenge

Studies have shown if your can do something for 30 days straight, you can actually rewire the brain to make it a permanent habit so The Doctors challenged two couples to make love every single night for 30 days straight to see how it affected their relationships.

Chad and Pam said their love life has slowed down a lot in recent years but neither of them want it to stop. Pam said she misses wanting to make love while Chad said he simply misses the lovemaking part. He also believed if they made love more often, they would have a better relationship.

Jennifer and Tyler were in the same boat. They said their love life had slowed down quite a bit and Jennifer thinks she knows why. Her boyfriend is always trying to make love but she could care less about it although she did say she wanted to get back in the groove again and get out of their routine now.

Pam and Chad Happier After 30 Day Lovemaking Challenge

It didn’t seem easy for either of the couples to make love every single day for 30 days. Pam struggled to get her libido back to where it was before and Jennifer said there were days when she and Tyler were too tired to get hot in the bedroom.

The Doctors asked two couples try their 30 day lovemaking challenge to see how it affected their relationships with each other.

At the end of the 30 days though, both couples seemed happy about participating in the challenge.

Pam said Chad had become happier and he was helping her out around the house more often which put her in a better mood.

“Chad is very dedicated to the cause,” she joked.

Chad said the challenge made him realize the more he gets done outside the bedroom, the more he will get done in the bedroom.

“I never knew vacuuming was foreplay until I hosted this show,” said Dr. Travis Stork.

Pam and Chad said they have agreed to make love four times a week although Chad did say if they have started this challenge 10 years ago he would have said they were going to do it eight times a week.

Making Love Three Times a Month Proven to Make People Happier

Jennifer and Chad said the 30 day challenge got them out of rut and into a new routine, something Jennifer said was key to bringing them closer.

“We would like to do it everyday but that won’t happen,” said Jennifer.

The Doctors pointed out it would be near impossible to find time to make love every day, but they pointed to a study that suggested making love just three times a month will make someone 33 percent more likely to be happier during the month.
