The Doctors then explained that their audience was full of active military members, wounded warriors, nurses, and other incredibly deserving people. The Doctors then wanted to highlight a woman who has dedicated her life to helping furry friends. Several years, Kathy lost her own dog to lymphoma, and upon trying to find another dog, realized how many dogs were stuck in shelters after being neglected. There was a pit bull that no one wanted, and Kathy ended up saving him. She then went on to save more than 150 dogs through the Samadhi Legacy Foundation.

Kathy isn’t afraid to take the difficult dogs, who have a history of fighting or extreme illness. She rescues pretty much 24/7, but doesn’t want to be acknowledged for it. The Doctors had a surprise planned for Kathy that she certainly didn’t see coming. Dr Travis surprised Kathy with a day off, taking her in a limo to a day spa. Jorinda Nardone, the Spa Director at Green Valley Ranch Resort, welcomed Kathy, excited to take care of her. Kathy was treated to an 80-minute body treatment, which included a massage, facial, and mask. She also got a foot massage while drinking champagne and eating chocolate covered strawberries!

The Doctors then surprised the entire audience with a weekend trip to Vegas at the Green Valley Ranch Resort!
