The Doctors: Everyday Dental Mistakes
Millions of dollars are spent to achieve a perfectly white smile, but the bad news is that you could be making a few crucial dental mistakes every day right in your own home. The first mistake would be drinking an energy drink. Energy drinks, just like soda, contain a lot of acid which erodes the teeth and thins enamel. Plus, when enamel is thin, stains stick to your teeth easier.
The second mistake you could be making is using an old toothbrush. An old toothbrush doesn’t work as well as a new one so replace your toothbrush every 2-4 months. Finally, if you use mouthwash that contains a chemical called CPC, it’s an ingredient that is good for the gums but can stain your teeth.
