Drs TV Trilogy Ladies: Lovemaking After Menopause & Heart Palpitations

The Doctors talked with the Trilogy Ladies about lovemaking after hitting menopause, what the causes are for heart palpitations and exercises for hammertoes.

The first time The Doctors met the Trilogy Ladies, a group of lively seniors who aren’t afraid to talk about anything health-related, they were asking a number of questions baby boomers are always thinking about. Well May 14 2013, the Trilogy Ladies were back and they had some embarrassing questions they needed answers to.

Advice For Making Love After Menopause

Every one of the Trilogy Ladies had been through menopause but that doesn’t mean they want to slow down the fun in the bedroom. They want to keep it hot in their relationships and they needed some advice.

Dr. Lisa Masterson said the number one thing to remember is to lubricate. She also suggested talking with their doctors about hormone replacement therapy, exercising often to keep the blood flowing and to make sure they are relaxed and stress-free when the time comes for a little fun in the bedroom.

One of the women told Dr. Masterson she has not made love since her husband died 13 years ago and she was worried if she didn’t use it, she would lose it. Well, she might not lose it but Dr. Masterson said her female parts will begin to close up if she doesn’t use them.

What Causes a Heart Palpitation?

All of the Trilogy Ladies wanted Dr. Travis Stork to check out their heartbeats because most of them said they have been getting heart palpitations. While Dr. Stork believed they had heart palpitations, he said there are number of reasons for them. They could come from:

  • High anxiety levels
  • Too much stress
  • Taking certain medications
  • A change in hormones
  • Eating certain foods
  • Drinking too much caffeine or alcohol

Dr. Stork said it is important to remember that heart palpitations can cause the heart to beat very fast, flutter or beat very slow. He also reminded the women if they begin to have heart palpitations that make them light headed and dizzy, they should see doctor about the problem.

Dr Ordon Exercises For Hammertoes

One of the women in the group had some really bad hammertoes from teaching for 39 years in high heels. She was wondering if there was some kind of exercise she could do to fix her toes and Dr. Stork said there is but they didn’t have time to talk about the exercises on air.

Luckily, they have a short video explaining how to perform the exercises. You can check it out below.
