Chef Rocco DiSpirito, celebrity chef and author, joined The Doctors to share a few of his favorite food tricks for burning fat to help you lose weight, while still enjoying delicious food. He first pointed out that protein powder may be one of the most useful tools in your kitchen, but it’s good for a lot more than shakes and smoothies! Rocco explained that you can actually use protein powder in place of flour in baked goods like pancakes, for a healthier, protein-packed breakfast. Traditional pancakes contain 77 grams of carbs whereas his protein pancakes have just 5 grams of carbs and 15 grams of protein!
