The Drs TV: Man Accidentally Ordered Expensive Bottle Of Wine
The Doctors kicked off their show by talking about a New Jersey man who ordered what he thought was a cheap bottle of wine, but it turned out to be $3,750. The man made a mistake while in Atlantic City after a host asked him to pick the wine at a steak house. He didn’t have his glasses and the waitress said $3750, so he thought the bottle cost $37.50.
The man joined The Doctors via Polycom, and Joe said he doesn’t know much about wine but thought it tasted okay. He said they brought the bottle uncorked to the table, and then they drank the wine. At the end of the meal, he got the bill and was in shock. Dr Travis Stork claimed that it could be a scam where they purposefully say it that way and then fill the bottle up with cheap wine to fool people.
Dr Jim Sears said the bottle is only supposed to retail for $850, so it’s still expensive, but not almost $4,000. Dr Drew Ordon said you never bring an uncorked bottle to the table at that cost. Joe talked to the server and then management. The server told Joe’s brother that he had said to pick the most expensive bottle of wine on the list. The most expensive bottle on the list was $30,000. They split the bill between 30 of them and it cost him over $800. He asked for the bottle back and they claimed they couldn’t find it.
Joe took a lie detector test to prove that he wasn’t making up his story about what happened. He passed the polygraph test.
The Doctors: Kicked Out Of Doctor’s Office For Breastfeeding
The Doctors then talked about why one woman got booted from her doctor’s office. A Texas mom was asked to stop breastfeeding her child while in the waiting room of her OB/GYN’s office. After waiting an hour for 4-month-old’s vaccination appointment, the woman said she started breastfeeding her baby, when a worker told her to go to the bathroom or else security would be called. When she refused, she was escorted out of the office.
Erin joined The Doctors via Polycom to share her story. She said she breastfed there before so it was “unexpected to say the least.” She said she contacted her doctor thinking she would back her up, but that’s not what happened. Dr Ashton said she applauded her and thinks we need to get past our fascination with women’s breasts. She said in other parts of the world, breastfeeding is the most natural thing. Plus, like she said, she was in a doctor’s office, not in an overly public place.
