Wednesday, March 6 2013 is another all new episode of The Chew. Get ready to judge a fierce competition when a new group of Iron Grandmas takes over the kitchen to share their own favorite recipes.
The Chew: Meatloaf Battle Royale
Cooking is an art and a skill that is passed down through the generations, which means that your grandmother probably has the best recipe around for a classic dish such as meatloaf.
That’s exactly the thinking behind this week’s Meatloaf Battle Royale. Grandmothers will be going head to head in making their favorite meatloaf recipes, but only one can be victorious. You will have to tune in to find out who is coming out on top during the show.
The Chew: Iron Grandmas Judges
To help The Chew crew choose a winner in this new competition among Iron Grandmas, celebrity expert judges will be taking part in the process.
On March 6 2013, tune in to see Aaron McCargo Jr (better known as Big Daddy), Iron Chef Geoffrey Zakarian, and Gail Simmons from Food & Wine. These three chefs are no strangers to TV cooking themselves, so they know their stuff, and they will be selecting a talented grandmother whose meatloaf recipe will bring that extra something special. Don’t miss it!
The Chew: Iron Grandma Mama T
Plus, The Chew has not forgotten about its original Iron Grandma, Mama T. She has been featured on the show several times in the past, and this time the show is going home with her.
The March 6 edition of The Chew will send Carla Hall to Mama T’s home in Staten Island, New York, to see where she really cooks every day. This is where the magic happens. You know there will be some good eating if you tune in for an all new episode of The Chew on March 6 2013.
If you can’t watch the show live, or you want to track down one of the recipes, be sure to check back here for a full recap after it’s on TV.
