The Chew: Philadelphia Fish House Punch Recipe

Clinton Kelly’s Philadelphia Fish House Punch is a fun and tasty cocktail to sip on with your favorite people, anytime of the year! (kentwang / Flickr)

  • 1 oz cognac
  • 1/2 oz simple syrup
  • 1 thin wheel lemon
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 3/4 oz peach schnapps
  • 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
  • ice – to serve

For the Simple Syrup:

  • 1/2 C sugar
  • 1/2 C water

  1. In a cocktail shaker, add the cognac, dark rum, simple syrup, peach schnapps, ice, and fresh lemon juice
  2. Shake for about 30 seconds to blend
  3. Strain over ice into a Collins glass
  4. Garnish with a lemon wheel

For the Simple Syrup:

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, bring the water and sugar to a boil
  2. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes to dissolve the sugar
  3. Remove from the heat and cool until ready to use
