Healthy Portable Snacks

Here’s the thing about portable snacks – it can be hard to find ones that aren’t going to shorten your lifespan in some way. Fiber One bars are loaded with chocolate, Clif Bars have a bunch of hidden saturated fats and that trail mix you thought was so healthy? Think again.

On the other side of the coin, healthy snacks that are portable can sometimes be a big pain. Every time I eat an apple, my hands are left all sticky. I don’t want to touch the steering wheel of my car with sticky hands! And oranges…who has the 30 or 40 seconds necessary to peel one of those things? I guess I can give bananas a pass, because those are pretty easy to grab and go, but I want variety, darn it!

To the members of The Chew: if you’re reading this, take it as a message that you better come correct.

Jessica Capshaw Grey’s Anatomy

Given that she is also appearing on The View tomorrow, I can only assume that either Jessica Capshaw’s acting career is ailing, or she is coming out with a new book. Heck, maybe she just likes cooking as much as much as Patricia Heaton. Besides the Grey’s Anatomy season finale approaching, I really am not aware of anything else going on in the actress’s life. Can one really have a conversation about Grey’s Anatomy that stays interesting for an extended period of time?

I guess the best way to approach tomorrow’s show with her will be to flick on your television with an open mind and just wait to see what unfolds. See you tomorrow!
