The Chew is celebrating Cinco de Mayo in style on May 5, 2015, with Pati Jinich from Pati’s Mexican Table coming by to make some great Mexican food with The Chew crew. Check it all out below!
The Chew: Pati Jinich Recipes
Pati Jinich from Pati’s Mexican Table will come by The Chew on Cinco de Mayo to join in on the fun with The Chew hosts. Pati Jinich was born and raised in Mexico and she comes from a family of accomplished cooks, as well as being an expert chef herself, so she knows how to make some very delicious and authentic Mexican food!
In addition, her Pati’s Mexican Table is a culinary program that provides live cooking demonstrations and workshops and she works to help familiarize people with Mexican cuisine with this program, all of which makes her the perfect guest for the Cinco de Mayo episode.
The Chew: Cinco de Mayo
The Chew crew is celebrating on May 5, 2015, because it’s Cinco de Mayo! They’ll be making some great recipes for Carnitas in Mole Verde and Shrimp and Avocado Enchiladas in a Creamy Tomato Sauce.
Because this is The Chew, you can also expect lots of fun shenanigans. They’ll be sombreros and fun attire all around. There might even be a fun Cinco de Mayo-themed edition of Clinton’s Craft Corner. And I don’t know about you, but I’m hoping for at least one tequila-based cocktail recipe.
