The Chew: Jonathon Sawyer Noodlekids
Jonathon Sawyer is a chef who owns several restaurants in the Cleveland area, including a restaurant called Noodlecat, which focuses on sustainability, local ingredients, and ramen recipes. We’re all familiar with ramen, of course. Unless you were very rich in college, you probably had more than a few nights of eating ramen.
College students make an art out of ramen recipes. Adding Tabasco sauce and cream cheese to chicken ramen, for example, was my favorite way to eat it. But Jonathon Sawyer has made a career out of making gourmet ramen recipes, the kind of recipes you never knew existed and would have loved back in your college days.
That’s why his Grilled Ramen and Cheese recipe is going to be perfect for college students, people raising families on a budget, and people who love trying new things. It’s going to be a very interesting recipe and I’m excited to see how it works out!
The Chew: Pasta Recipes
This episode of The Chew is called “Nuthin’ But Noodles”, which means it’s all dedicated to pasta. This is, of course, where Mario Batali shines, so expect a randomly over-complicated pasta recipe with something most people don’t have in their kitchens on a regular basis, like oysters or lobster.
I think you can also expect a healthy pasta from Daphne Oz or a deliciously savory pasta recipe from Michael Symon. We’ll have to tune into The Chew on March 24, 2015, to find out exactly what they have in store for us!
