The Chew is celebrating CInco De Mayo with authentic Mexican recipes from Chef Pati Jinich and festive party ideas for your upcoming Mexican fiesta.

Cinco De Mayo, the fifth of May, is a holiday celebrated in the United States and parts of Mexico. The date commemorates the Battle of the Puebla during the US Civil War. It endures as a celebration of Mexican culture and heritage.

It’s also a great excuse to enjoy the delicious flavors and dishes that make Mexican-style cuisine so popular around the world. You don’t have to twist my arm to get me to enjoy delicious Mexican food any time of year, and any holiday where food takes center stage is going to excite The Chew crew as well.
