The Chew: Turkey Meatball Wedding Soup Recipe

If there’s one thing everyone craves when the temperature starts to drop and their nose starts to run: soup! Soup is what your mother made when you were too sick to go to school. It’s what you make your own child when their foreheads are warm. But you can only have chicken noodle soup so many times before you start to lose interest. I mean, it’s the same every time. Chicken, noodles, carrots, celery, and broth. Maybe a few other fun things thrown in, but basically the same.

Why not try a Turkey Meatball Wedding Soup recipe? That’s the hearty, delicious recipe The Chew crew will be making on January 20, 2015. You won’t want to miss this great recipe!

The Chew: Soup Garnishes

In a similar vein, you can only have saltines and other kinds of crackers in your soup so many times before it begins to become tiresome. That’s why The Chew crew are bringing us some more innovative soup garnishes, such as pasta chips, bacon spiced popcorn, and pesto cheese crostini.

I think pesto cheese crostini is a pretty basic idea and I’m sure that one’s Mario’s suggestion. But bacon spiced popcorn? I’ve never even heard of that! I’m betting that’s Michael Symon’s influence, but it sounds absolutely delicious on its own. Toss it in a soup and boom, you have something completely new and different.

I’ve also never heard of pasta chips, but that’s another garnish they’re making and it’s something I’m very excited to try.

Tune into The Chew on January 20, 2015, for all of this and so much more!
