The Chew: Football Party Dishes
Football season is upon us, which can only mean one thing: sooner or later it’ll be your turn to have the guys over to cook something for the big day. Sure, you could just buy a bunch of tortilla chips and some spinach dip or salsa, or buy a ridiculous amount of wings from your favorite wing place. You could order out for pizza or order a giant sandwich.
But if you want to impress people or save money, it might be time to whip up something a little bit more gourmet. How much more gourmet? How about some venison chili? It’s a favorite in the upper peninsula of Michigan where I went to school and let me tell you, it’s wonderful. I have no idea if they’ll be making venison chili on The Chew, but I think it’s a good idea.
On The Chew, maybe they’ll give us some great wings or homemade pizza or some other recipe that will help us to feed a lot of people. Maybe something in the crockpot? We’ll have to tune in to be sure!
The Chew: Dips For Any Occasion
The Chew crew will also be making dips for any occasion. I think this is a wonderful idea, because if there’s one thing that’s great at a football party, it’s a good dip. Spinach dip, cheese dip, salsa, and others are great. Then there’s your hummus and your baba ganoush. Delicious!
We’ll have to see what The Chew crew makes on October 2, 2014!
