The Chew: Gina Torres Suits
If you’re a fan of sci-fi, then you’re familiar with Gina Torres. She played as Cleopatra in Xena: Warrior Princess, the evil being Jasmine in Angel, and the gun-toting, second-in-command Zoe in Firefly. If you were paying attention for a television season or two in 2000 and 2001, you might also remember her from Cleopatra 2525. She’s known for playing incredibly strong female characters and her role on Suits is no exception, although in that show she’s a cool tough lawyer instead of a soldier or goddess or Egyptian queen.
But the real question here is how well does Gina Torres cook? I believe her leading a ragtag group of misfits throughout the Verse running from the Alliance, but it’s hard for me to picture her making something in the kitchen. But we’ll have to see what she makes when she joins The Chew crew in the kitchen on February 9, 2015.
The Chew: Valentine’s Day Meals
Want to cook for that special someone but have no idea what to cook? Don’t worry, The Chew crew have you covered. All week, they’re going to be bringing plenty of great, romantic recipes for you and you special squeeze. On February 9, 2015, they’ll make some great Chocolate Pasta with Spicy Ragu, Savory Crab Legs with Artichoke and Champagne, and Valentine’s Day inspired cocktails.
If you have trouble in the kitchen or just want some great recipe ideas for that special night, you’ll want to check out The Chew this week. I know I’m interested in Chocolate Pasta with Spicy Ragu. I’m not sure exactly how that recipe is going to work, but it could be good.
Tune into The Chew on February 7, 2015, for all of these great segments and so much more!
