The Chew: Analeigh Tipton & Jake McDorman

Analeigh Tipton and Jake McDorman will star in the new ABC comedy Manhattan Love Story, the unconventional comedy about two people who meet each other and fall in love while the audience is let into their every thought about each other. It’s kind of like the Look Who’s Talking franchise, only instead of babies, we can hear the adult’s thoughts. It’s also probably not extremely lame.

I don’t know about you, but I loved Analeigh Tipton in Crazy, Stupid, Love, where she stole the show in the few scenes she was in as a babysitter who fell in love with Steve Carrell’s character, who also simultaneously had to fend off the advances of the boy she was babysitting. I’m not familiar with Jake McDorman’s work, but he was in Shameless and Greekand seemed to match Analeigh Tipton well in the previews.

I’m looking forward to their appearance, because I was kind of on the fence about watching the show. Now hopefully I’ll learn plenty more about it!

The Chew: Favorite Fall Meals

The Chew crew will be whipping up favorite fall meals on the show September 30, 2014, just in time for October. It’ll soon be time for turkey and pumpkin pie and candied apples. What kind of fall treats will The Chew crew make? I bet it’ll be heavy on savory meals, like brisket or roast chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. To me, fall favorites mean down home cooking. But maybe we’ll see an Italian fall favorite from Mario or a Greek one from Michael.

We’ll have to tune in September 30, 2014 to be sure!
