- Rachael Ray: Macaroni and Cheese Primavera Recipe with Katie Holmes
- Rachael Ray: Porchetta-Style Pork Chops Recipe & Fennel Taste
Katie Holmes is making a splash with Rachael Ray on the Wednesday, February 19 show. The actress is back in the spotlight after her high-profile split from A-list actor Tom Cruise, and she is going to show us what she knows about the kitchen. Also on this episode, the Human Lab is back with an old-school experiment, and there’s plenty of good eats being served up.
Rachael Ray: Katie Holmes
Katie Holmes is a superstar mom to daughter Suri, and she probably knows how to make macaroni and cheese, but Rachael is going to show her how to make Macaroni and Cheese Primavera, which will win over the kids as well as the adults. Also coming up during this hour, find out what the actress has on her bucket list and where her fans can expect her to turn up next.
There’s still something personable about her that makes her perfect for TV, where she got her big break on The WB’s Dawson’s Creek. Maybe she will make a return to the small screen if she can find the right part. It doesn’t seem like Holmes puts herself out there to the point of overexposure, and we know she is protective of her daughter, especially in the wake of ongoing custody negotiations with Cruise. But we can expect Rachael to keep it light when she chats with Katie, so gossip hounds will have to go elsewhere for a fix.
Rachael Ray: Old School Human Lab
How can you cook food in a bag without using electricity? Rachael Ray is challenging Sara Moulton and guinea pigs in the Human Lab to see whether some classic cooking methods from throughout history could be useful in these modern times. Find out how things turn out when the Human Lab goes unplugged on Wednesday.
Also, if you’re looking for something special at dinnertime, Rachael is serving up Porchetta-Style Pork Chops with roasted fennel, which seems to be the “in” vegetable lately. Check out all the fun and recipes from Rachael Ray and friends on Wednesday, February 19.
