- Rachael Ray: Dominican Republic-Style Chimichurri Burgers Recipe
The Winter Olympics are finally here! The opening ceremony is on Thursday, February 6, which makes Rachael Ray’s Gold Medal Gourmet episode perfectly timed. She has a jam packed guest list featuring Olympic superstars we all know and love. Also, Peter Walsh is performing a surprise organization intervention, and it’s burger night in the kitchen. Here’s what’s up.
Rachael Ray: Gold Medal Gourmet Cook-Off
What happens when you put four decorated Olympians together on one stage? Rach is showcasing a Gold Medal Gourmet cook-off among four US greats who all boast gold medals.
Dorothy Hamill is coming to the show, along with Brian Boitano. Did you know that, in addition to being immortalized in song (“What Would Brian Boitano Do?”…now that may be stuck in your head for the rest of the day, so you’re welcome), Brian Boitano has also become a celebrity chef in his own right? That may give him an unfair advantage in this competition. Good thing he and Hamill have judging duties.
Competing in this Gold Medal Gourmet showdown are Tara Lipinski and Chad Hedrick, who will have to quickly compete to put together their ultimate 30-minute meals. Which will be declared the winner? We are going to have to watch and see to find out this Thursday.
Rachael Ray: Peter Walsh Home Takeover
Peter Walsh is Rachael’s go-to organizational expert, and he is always showing us new ways to save space and store smarter so that we can find the things we are looking for. He is someone who would be fun to shop with at The Container Store, and he has probably tested out a lot of the specialized storage products found there, which would make him a great authority.
Plus, Rachael is in the kitchen to make burgers for dinner, so be sure to check back for Jose’s Chimichurri Burgers after the February 6 episode.
