Rachael Ray: St. Patrick’s Day
On March 15 2013, Rachael Ray is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Steve Carrell. He talks about his new film, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, and the upcoming Anchorman sequel. Then, Girls star Allison Williams stops by to tell everyone how she is becoming more famous than her dad, NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams. Make sure you’re wearing green this Friday with Rachael.
Rachael Ray: Allison Williams
The girl of the moment, Allison Williams, stars as Marnie on Girls. The girl that once had it all together, Marnie is starting to crack in season two. She went from having the job of her dreams and a steady boyfriend to being homeless, unemployed and having random hookups. How the mighty fall.
Allison didn’t just break onto the scene with Girls. She’s journalist Brian Williams’ daughter and graduated from Yale in 2010. She starred in a series of YouTube videos, singing with the incredibly talented Sam Tsui. While in 2009 these viral videos were just of a pretty girl and guy singing, they are now a snap shot of the girl that would take the world by storm.
Lena Dunham writes the Girls series and she said that Marnie has become the Michael Scott of Girls. Pretty fitting seeing as they’re both on today’s show.
Rachael Ray: Steve Carrell
The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is getting a lot of buzz with star Steve Carell. Only time will tell if it will be his next classic comedy.
It seems like the only thing people want to know about is if he will be returning to The Office. Steve told Ellen Degeneres that he will not be returning as Michael Scott for the series finale. You could hear the hearts of fan breaking around the world.
While everyone else wants to know about The Office, all I care about is Anchorman 2. The hilarious news team in back together and Steve is reprising his role as Brick Tamland, the mentally handicapped weatherman. He’s going to tell Rachael about the recent script read-through and what to expect from the sequel.
