Kelly Ripa: Panhandling for Breast Implants
Actor Jerry O’Connell hung out with Kelly Ripa once again for Live With Kelly August 28 2012. Kelly was very excited to share the story of an Ohio woman’s panhandling attempts. She wears a bikini and holds a sign begging for enough money to afford breast implant surgery.
Kelly suggested that she could take on a similar campaign outside the studio for “my little negative A-cup.” But producer Michael Gelman told Kelly she doesn’t need cosmetic surgery. (If she did, she could always go on The Doctors.)
Jerry O’Connell: Stolen Car Returned After 42 Years
Jerry shared the story of a 1970 car theft. Now, 42 years later, the theft victim found his car on eBay. It was the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) that helped him get it back. Kelly didn’t know that such things existed, and Jerry speculated as to how the man recalled his former VIN. Kelly attempted to re-enact a scene from the popular movie Grease, but the audience didn’t seem to be in on the joke. Then Kelly and Jerry sang a few bars of “Summer Nights.” Let’s hope these two don’t quit their day jobs.
Live With Kelly: Women Are Smarter Than Men
Kelly shared a study that concluded women are smarter than men. “In the last 100 years, the IQ scores of both men and women have risen, but women’s have risen faster,” she read from the study. It cited feminist influences and modernity. Researcher James Flynn is working on a book on this topic.
Kelly Ripa: Dads More Embarrassing Than Moms
Another new survey revealed that kids are more embarrassed by their dads than their moms. Which parent were you more embarrassed by? Jerry said his children attended day camp this summer, and he dropped them off one day in pink corduroy shorts two days in a row. One of the teen camp counselors called him out on it. That sounds almost as awkward as Jerry’s Valley Girl accent.
Kelly Ripa: Peasant Review
Kelly said her daughter Lola, who is 11, is constantly embarrassed by her parents and grandparents. The Conseulos family recently went to Peasant for dinner. Lola was ranting about her role as a middle child, and Kelly’s father-in-law made a scene in the restaurant, saying, “I love Lola,” to embarrass her.

Surf’s Up Travel Trivia: Bradley Cooper

In what 2009 comedy and its sequel did Bradley Cooper star?
The answer was The Hangover, but Cathy couldn’t come up with it. However, Cathy and an audience member did get $500 worth of Omaha Steaks.
Live With Kelly: Ben Stiller Madagascar 3 Interview
Ben’s voice is in high demand, too, and he discussed reprising his role in the Madagascar animated film series on Live With Kelly August 28.
Ben also chatted about his New York City childhood during the 1970s, which was all about smoking, drinking, and skateboarding. Plus, Ben reflected on his role in House of Blue Leaves on Broadway.
Live With Kelly: Michael Ealy in Common Law & Barbershop
Michael Ealy is an actor who got his ‘big break’ in the 2002 comedy film, Barbershop. Currently, Michael stars in the USA drama Common Law, where he plays Homicide Detective Travis Marks. On Live With Kelly August 28, Michael discussed working as a waiter, the University of Maryland, and why his face is on every bus in New York City!
