Surf’s up with a new workout to swim away from your winter blues. Kelly & Michael tried Surfset Fitness on the February 11 show, which also featured guests Mama June and Honey Boo Boo, plus a visit from Colin Farrell. Here’s what you missed.
Kelly & Michael: Surfset Fitness Review
The hosts changed into some beachy attire for End Winter Now Week, and they continued the tropical fun with a lesson in Surfset Fitness. This surfboard simulator is a popular fitness craze, and creator Mike Hartwick visited the show to demonstrate his skills.
Kelly and Michael caught a wave with a lesson from the creator of Surfset Fitness on February 11. They also talked to Colin Farrell and June Shannon.
Hartwick said he surfed in his off season when he was not playing hockey, and when he was working in Boston, he wanted to recreate the workout of surfing in the ocean. The workout system, found in many gyms, uses a stationary surfboard to do moves like planks or running in place, as the board wobbles beneath you.
