Kelly and Michael: Jimmy Fallon Tonight Show
Jimmy Fallon brought The Tonight Show back to New York on February 17, for the first time in over 40 years. Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan agreed that he is fun and will have a great time with his guests, bringing out different sides of him.
Michael said he would never have dressed as a woman before he started working at Live!, but he has done it with Jimmy Fallon since joining the team. Fallon took over for Jay Leno, who hosted the show for over 20 years.
This led to a throwback clip of Kelly, executive producer Michael Gelman, and executive in charge of production Art Moore in a 2009 Beyonce parody video for “Single Ladies.” Oh, the memories.
Kelly & Michael: Emily Blunt + John Krasinski Daughter
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski welcomed a baby daughter, naming her Hazel. Also in recent celebrity news, Christina Aguilera got engaged to Matthew Rutler, who she met on a movie set. Kelly, who met her husband at All My Children, thinks this is a good sign.
Kelly and Michael discussed actors dating, and Michael said you would not want to confuse the actor with the character, because you could get your heart broken. “We were dating before our characters were dating,” Kelly said of her budding relationship with her future husband. Then Kelly recalled that her soap opera character of Haley was not very likable.

Kelly Ripa previewed an interview with Mandy Patinkin, and she urged everyone to tune in for a pre-taped surprise for the guest. You can see that on the February 19 show, which will be full of surprises, the hosts promised. Michael even got caught up in the moment and lost in the action.
