Kelly Ripa: Radio City Rockettes Let Christmas Shine
The world-famous Radio City Rockettes dance troupe performed the song “Let Christmas Shine” from their Christmas Spectacular for Mark Consuelos & Kelly Ripa. The dance troupe was originally formed in St. Louis, Missouri in 1925.
The group performed at the opening night for New York’s Radio City Music Hall in 1932. The Rockettes have been performing their Christmas spectacular in New York City and around the world for nearly 80 years.
Kelly Ripa: Voca People
Voca People are a popular new performance group that communicate only with sound. Dressed in all white, they combine a capella and beat box vocals to reproduce the sounds of a band or orchestra. For Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa, they performed a medley of holiday favorites, including “Winter Wonderland” and “Let It Snow.”
The Voca People group formed in Israel before becoming popular in Italy thanks to YouTube and television appearances. They are currently appearing Off Broadway at New York’s Westside Theater.
After a commercial break, Mark Consuelos said he didn’t know where Kelly Ripa was, but he was sure she’d be right back. He asked the Voca People if they had seen her, and it turned out that she had transformed into the costume of the Voca People. She gave Mark Consuelos a big kiss, smearing white paint on his face in the process.
Santa Claus Visits Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos
Santa Claus made a surprise appearance, joining Mark & Kelly and the Voca People. With only five days until Christmas, Santa said, “I’m very busy. But I’m never so busy that I can’t come over here and start my Christmas season with you.” Santa Claus is celebrating 25 years of performing with the Radio City Rockettes.
Santa Claus and the Voca People joined Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa in a rendition of the classic carol “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”
