Kelly & Michael: Melissa Etheridge
Melissa Etheridge came by Live! With Kelly & Michael for a performance. I think she’s really talented, so I was excited for this performance. She’s been around since the ’80s, which I find so impressive. It really says a lot when a musician is still putting out good and original music after so much time. Etheridge has stayed relevant and clearly has a lot of talent. Before introducing her, Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan played some of her music video, which was great. She’s actually a Grammy and Oscar winner, which is so impressive and shows just how talented she really is. Her new album This Is M.E. is out September 30.
Kelly & Michael: A Little Bit of Me Review
Etheridge performed her song “A Little Bit Of Me,” with a band. She really has a unique and powerful voice. And the song was really hopeful and had a great message about how we all have common ground and how we have to work together. “There’s a little bit of me in a little bit of you,” she sang. It was a really sweet song about how we all have things in common and how we should all get along in the end. Mostly it just felt like a song about us all getting along and find peace, which is something we can all get behind. She sang about how people don’t need to be afraid of each other, and how the world keeps turning and we all walk on common ground. It did feel like a very relevant song.

Kelly & Michael: Melissa Etheridge Wedding
Etheridge just got married to Linda Wallem from Nurse Jackie recently. “Very happy,” she said. This is actually the last season of Nurse Jackie.
Kelly & Michael: Melissa Etheridge Jigsaw Puzzles
Etheridge loves jigsaw puzzles. Her puzzle is in the middle of the house so she can watch all of her children. It’s a great way to keep her mind occupied and it keeps her sharp. Her kids sometimes think she’s doing the puzzle when she’s really watching them though.
Kelly & Michael: Melissa Etheridge Chiefs Fan
She’s also a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan. They had a great game September 29 and won 41 to 14.
Kelly & Michael: The Only One Review
Etheridge then ended the show by performing her 1993 classic “I’m The Only One,” and it sounded as good as ever. She has such a strong voice.
