Mark Feuerstein is an American actor best known for his role as Dr. Hank Lawson on the USA network drama Royal Pains. Today he joined Kelly and Nick to chat about the new season of his hit show, plus surprised Kelly with a hilarious musical tribute!

Mark has co-hosted with Kelly before, an event he called “a special time in his life.” However, Kelly pointed out that when Nick co-hosted last, he sang her a song. What could Mark bring to the table? Although Kelly was only joking, Mark was prepared to one-up Nick with a rap.

He pulled some notes out of his pocket, stood up, and asked Nick if he could supply the beat-box. He then delivered some surprisingly well-written verses about he and Kelly co-hosting and then hanging in the Hamptons. It had the audience in stitches. Who knew he had such mad flow?

Mark revealed that he wrote his rap using hotel stationary last night while staying on Long Island. Kelly loved it, and said she was going to frame his hand-written lyrics.

Mark Feuerstein: Dad Guest Star on Royal Pains

Mark’s dad, like the rest of his family, is a larger-than-life character. He actually met with a producer who wanted to create a television show around him. This led to Mark’s dad being offered a guest starring role on Royal Pains, despite having never acted before. He will be featured in a scene in Episode 8, which Mark will direct.

Royal Pains has had some fantastic guest stars like Henry Winkler and Campbell Scott, all of whom will be returning this season. Judy Greer, the talented actress who recently starred in The Descendants, will appear this season on the show. Judy will play a matchmaker who sets Dr. Lawson up with one of her clients.

You can catch Mark (and his dad!) on Royal Pains on the USA Network, Wednesdays at 9 p.m.
