John also said that he is a big Mets fan, and that the team taught him to “love unconditionally but get nothing in return.” Kelly replied, “that prepares you for parenting!”

However, the parade was so loud that John could barely hear anything. He would see Ernie’s lips moving, and all he could do was nod!

John explained that it was difficult to first come up with Sid’s signature lisp, because he’s a fast-talking New Yorker. However, when he saw a documentary on sloths and learned that they store food in their cheeks, the lisp voice came to him.

Kelly, Seth and John then watched a clip from the film in which Sid meets his long-lost family, including his mother (voiced by comedian Wanda Sykes). Ice Age 4: Continental Drift is released in theaters Friday, July 13 2012.
