Kelly and Michael: Scott Foley
Scott Foley knows drama as part of the cast on ABC’s hit drama Scandal. He even did a little dance as he walked out for his conversation with Kelly & Michael.
Kelly & Michael: Scott Foley Speaking Polish
Foley’s wife, Marika, is Polish, and together they have a four-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy. She speaks only in Polish to the kids, and just by being around it, he is picking up more of the language.
He gave the hosts some examples of how to say words like big and small. He can also say the phrase, “Excuse me, ma’am, I’d like an egg.” Michael wondered whether his wife is talking about him to her family or their children without his knowledge.
Foley said the upside is that he can tune out of conversations when they are out to dinner, because he does not keep up with the language well enough to keep up. He said it’s relaxing enough that he doesn’t worry whether they are talking about him.
Kelly and Michael: Scott Foley Frozen
Scott Foley’s young children are fans of the Disney movie Frozen, and they love to sing along with every song. “Everywhere I go is Frozen,” he said, and he even brought Kelly & Michael a video of his daughter singing one of the songs from the movie.
Kelly & Michael: Scott Foley Scandal Season 3
Foley also stars in season three of Scandal, and he explained why fans of the show may dislike his character. That’s because he showed up to meddle in the relationship between Olivia and Fitz, who is the president.
His character is now keeping this relationship from happening by being the guy in the middle. He said that the social media reaction has been very hostile, and sometimes the reactions are over the line.
Michael said that you can brush it off when it’s about the character, but Foley said that sometimes the attacks are pointedly personal. What would someone have to do to get Scandal spoilers out of Foley? In reality, he admitted that it would not take much to get him to break.
Kelly and Michael: Scott Foley Movie
Scott Foley has also written and directed a movie called Let’s Kill Ward’s Wife, which is in post-production and could soon be coming to a theater near you.
In a clip from Scandal, his character, Jake Ballard, learns about his new responsibilities. New episodes of Scandal air Thursday nights on ABC.
