Kelly and Michael: Matt LeBlanc
Golden Globe winner Matt LeBlanc visited with Kelly and Michael to talk about playing a version of himself on a third season of Showtime’s Episodes. LeBlanc was a guest with Kelly and Michael for the first time since they teamed up.
LeBlanc said his trip to New York was his first experience with a Polar Vortex, which has made winter brutal in the East. But in California, there has been no winter, and even the rainy season is resulting in drought conditions.
Kelly & Michael: Matt LeBlanc Web Therapy
LeBlanc and former Friends co-star Lisa Kudrow reunited for an episode of her series Web Therapy, which they improvised together. Matt LeBlanc told Kelly and Michael that he was terrified about doing improv, but Lisa is a master of the form, and he knew he could trust her to make him look good. He just had to make sure not to call her Phoebe.
Kelly and Michael: Matt LeBlanc Social Media
Matt LeBlanc is the father of a girl who just turned 10, and he fears the day when she no longer wants to hang out with him. Michael Strahan said he does not allow his nine-year-old twins to be on social media, which is a policy Matt also has for his daughters. LeBlanc said he is not even online himself.
However, there are plenty of fake accounts in his name, impersonating him, which has occasionally confused his friends. Kelly and Michael both said they are in the shallow end of the social media pool. The lesson here is that if you think you are interacting with Matt on Facebook or Twitter, it is somebody else.
Kelly & Michael: Matt LeBlanc Episodes Season 3
Episodes is in its third season on Showtime, and it has been renewed for another year on Showtime. “A little job security in this industry isn’t bad,” he said.
LeBlanc stars as a caricature of himself, a former hit sitcom star now trapped on a bad show called Pucks. “It’s a show about making a show in Hollywood,” he said of the format, and the Hollywood saga shows how the machinations of the industry can betray everyone involved.
Kelly and Michael: Matt LeBlanc Vs Joey
Do people get him confused with his onscreen persona? Matt LeBlanc said that Friends fans thought he was dumb, and Episodes fans might feel that he is a jerk. He’s not sure which is better.
In a scene from the show, LeBlanc is upset that his stalker has moved on and is no longer interested in him. You can see Episodes Sunday nights on Showtime.
