Kelly Ripa: Test Track Ride At Epcot
Epcot is the second theme park at Walt Disney World, and Kelly Ripa took a spin on one of its most popular rides, Test Track. The newly revamped thrill ride is better – and faster – than ever, so Kelly shared her fun with the audience.
Joining Kelly’s quest to satisfy her need for speed was her family: Mark Consuelos and their three children Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Kelly drove the family from the hotel to Epcot because Mark was driving his own motorized wheelchair. Maybe the sports fan injured his foot playing soccer? Whatever it may be, get well soon, Mark! Later, the Consuelos family boarded and prepared for the ride of their lives.
Test Track is extremely fast and simulates the experience of test-driving a new car. The whole family was screaming with wind in their hair, except for Michael (aka, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named), who kept his mohawk perfectly intact.
Test Track was completely redone in December 2012, so if you haven’t checked out the new and improved version, it’s definitely worth a trip!
Kelly & Michael: Disney Family Face-Off
The Eiben family from Pennsylvania (Team Minnie) and Montecalvo family from Florida (Team Mickey) later joined the hosts for the next edition of the Disney Family Face-Off. The families competed for a $500 Disney gift card, which can definitely buy a lot of mouse ears!
Today’s edition featured a “find the Mickey” challenge. Mickeys were hidden inside of a ball pit and even cream pies. After quite a messy game, the Eiben Family triumphed over the Montecalvos. The Eibens were led by Team Captain Michael, who even wore his own pair of glittery Minnie ears. Very chic.
